Solution: Contact the courier company to tell you all the details and needed documentation to finalize the customs clearance. Failure to provide the necessary documentation will have your shipment further stuck in transit. However, if the package is shipped from/to a country outside of the US, EU, then the customs declaration should be provided. – In general, items shipped to/from countries within the US/GB/EU/AU, do not need special documentation, unless the shipment is a matter of state monopoly or contains prohibited and restricted items. Why is my shipment still in transit when it was supposed to be already delivered? When parcel is stuck in transit it means that the package is no longer progressing towards its destination and it is either kept in one of the courier company’s depots for further checks or stuck in customs. The package stays in transit until the driver/postman delivers it. What "in transit" means? When your shipment is in transit, it means the courier company picked the parcel up and your shipment is on its way to the delivery address. Many times, when this happens, you won’t see a new update in the tracking system. So, what does the status “parcel stuck in transit” means? Don't want a bunch of returns for late Priority deliveries.It happens that the package is stuck in transit longer than we had expected. ![]() Now I am contacting customers, for now only the Priority orders, and asking them if they still want me to send. I noticed just today, all USPS postal orders that I place are saying "may arrive late". I cannot afford to insure all of these packages and my products are at a price point where, understandably, the customer will not either. This has happened in Chicago, New York, and Detroit for me so far. I understand how customers feel, as if they pay for something, they should receive it in a reasonable amount of time. We will lose so much money, and truly is it not our fault. Sellers cannot replace so many items for customers. I have started checking all of my orders and where they are in tracking, and then messaging customers telling them many orders are running late and to try to be patient, and that I will try to get information on my end if movement stops in the system. The replacement is not there yet, but the original showed up the evening that she needed it, a total of THREE weeks after I shipped. I sent one out to New York that was in the "arriving late" and customer needed for birthday gift so I sent a replacement. They were waiting 2 weeks or more for their package. You are not alone! I had eight customers with problems just as you stated.
